I was part of Playwrights’ Studio Scotland Mentoring Programme for 2020, mentored by Lewis Hetherington, developing the play Amazing Grace. I was also part of Traverse Theatre’s inaugural Creating Space Writers’ Group in 2022 for Scotland-based writers of the Global Majority led by acclaimed playwright Mariem Omari, with support from director Shilpa T-Hyland, developing the play Wake Up.
Look at Her was a winner of the 2014 IdeasTap “Writing for performers: One act plays” and published in the anthology “I Clean for England” by MardiBooks.
Dreams of Flying was shortlisted for the 2017 Scotland Short Play Award run by Cumbernauld Theatre.
