About

Neil is a writer and playwright from Edinburgh, Scotland. His writing explores ideas of identity, mortality and belonging, often drawing on his work with researchers from around the world. 

He made his debut as a featured spoken word performer at Listen Softly in 2019 and was a Playwrights’ Studio Scotland Mentored Playwright in 2020. His plays have won the IdeasTap one act play competition and been shortlisted for the Scottish Short Play Award.

He is also a trustee of Cymera: Scotland’s Festival of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Writing.
